ELV (ΟΤΚΖ) refers to vehicles (up 3,500 kgr gross weight) which have reached the end of their useful lives (due to age or an unrepairable damage or buying a new car).
The owner of an ELV can remove his old car from the database of the Ministry of Transport in order to avoid costs like road tax, insurance etc.
